Sunset Red Stables Rooftop - Barry McAdam

"In St. Anne's Park one evening I was inspired to paint the roof lantern and weathervane over the Red Stables in the ethereal glow of an early summer sunset.   I imagined what it would be like to see the view from 'up there' above the roof with the chimneys and finials complementing the composition.  I chose in this piece as well to saturate everything in the colourful light and I think this brings a lovely playful feel to the piece".
