Roman Tower St. Anne's Park - Barry McAdam
Barry loves places that seem magical, where there is something special about it that captures the imagination. The Roman Tower in St. Anne's is such a place. He still enjoy exploring the tree roots and looking up to see this tower from another era rising above. This was the first piece where Barry used his dripping water technique to capture something other than water. The colours in the roots pop against the leaves and sky above and the careful use of whitespace gives an airy magical feel to the piece.
