Howth Harbour Lighthouse - Barry McAdam
One day when Barry was out on a walk in Howth he realised just how far-out one feels from the mainland when walking along the wall at the lighthouse. He thought it would be exciting to bring this feel to this piece and at the same time give a sense of the village from the Martello tower, to the Abbey Tavern and down to the King Sitric. He started with the Lighthouse as a focal point with a yacht in the foreground. This really helps frame the view and bring you on a journey from the sea back up into the village.
