Freedom of the City, Grattan Bridge - Sinéad Woods
'Freedom of the City, Grattan bridge' is Sinéad's limited edition illustration print of a playful take on the mythical hippocampus or seahorse creatures that adorn Grattan Bridge between Capel Street and Parliament Street, Dublin.
“There is a lot of architecture I like around the city but I particularly like Grattan Bridge, its solid lattice structure, with scrolls underneath and especially the seahorse creatures incorporated into its lamp designs.
I like the idea of these creatures taking a dive down off their pedestals and having a swim down the Liffey.”
Printed to museum quality using Giclée printing process on archival quality paper.
