Dublin Port Sail Past
In this view the Giano tug sails past the Poolbeg Towers. The low angle to makes the landmarks more dramatic as the eye moves into the distance. The Aviva to Croke Park and lots in between is captured. Little green domes glisten against the sunset and this colour sits at the front in the North Bank Lighthouse as well to frame the piece. This is one of two lighthouses and a light ship in the piece. The chimneys and water structures around Poolbeg start with an urban industrial landscape. This moves through the maritime to the cityscape in the distance and back again through the delightful maze of cranes on the right.
